  • Do I need to be a Bannatyne member?

No. BoxGolf Weybridge is open to everyone. Book a session, come in, and use the club car park while you are here.

  • Do I need my own clubs?

No. Clubs are here and ready to use. If you do bring your own, even better — we will work with the set you actually play with.

  • What if I have never played before?

Then you are in the right place. Plenty of people arrive having never hit a ball. Most are making solid contact before the first session is over.

Most lessons tell you what to fix. This one shows you.

Golf lessons have a habit of leaving you with a head full of terminology and no idea whether anything actually changed. BoxGolf Weybridge is built the other way round.

Every session is filmed from two angles and measured with live ball-flight data, so the before and the after sit side by side on the screen in front of you. You see the change. You feel the change. You leave knowing exactly what you did differently and how to keep doing it.

No jargon. No guesswork. One clear improvement per session, proved on screen before you walk out.

Forty-five minutes, four steps.

1.

We film where you are now

A handful of swings on camera, front and side, with the numbers running. No fixing yet. This is the baseline, and it is what everything gets measured against.

2.

We change one thing

Not five things. One. The single adjustment that will make the biggest difference to your ball, explained in plain English and demonstrated until it feels natural.

3.

We prove it

Same swing, same cameras, new numbers. Old and new side by side on the grid, with the distance and dispersion to match. Higher, straighter, and often around twenty-five yards longer inside the same session.

4.

You leave with a plan

A WhatsApp follow-up lands afterwards with your video clips and three bullet points telling you exactly what to practise. Nothing to write down, nothing to forget on the drive home.

Jon Wells,
PGA Professional

Jon has spent seven years refining how golf gets taught in a compact indoor space — long enough to design the BoxGolf unit itself, which is now built and installed across the UK.

His coaching style is conversational rather than instructional. You will be asked what the last shot felt like as often as you are told what to do, because a change you understand is a change that survives the drive to the first tee.

He is equally comfortable with a complete beginner, a junior preparing for school matches, and a single-figure player who has lost the left side of the course.

You will leave every session a noticeably better golfer than when you arrived, and you will know exactly what changed.

Coaching is only half of it. Between sessions you can book the unit on its own and work through what you were given, with the same cameras and the same numbers running.

It also means Weybridge finally has somewhere central to hit balls in January. Awesome Golf game modes, virtual courses and closest-to-the-pin are all there when you would rather play than drill.

Who it is for?

  • Complete beginners who want to be able to play a round without feeling out of place.

  • Juniors preparing for school matches or club competitions.

  • Returning golfers picking the clubs back up after a few years away.

  • Experienced players tired of one good round in four and wanting to know why.

  • Anyone who wants somewhere warm and dry to practise between October and March.

Five stars, and the reasons why.

Only had a handful of golf lessons with Jon so far and dropped my handicap by 5 shots within 6 weeks. Excellent coach who keeps the learning simple but very efficient. Highly recommended.
— Mark Hughes
I went to Jon as a complete beginner and couldn’t even hit the ball. After just one lesson I was making solid contact, and now 9 lessons in I’m playing regular rounds of golf with confidence.
— Luca Wood
His lessons are clear, well structured and thoughtfully paced, he never overwhelms you with too much information at once. Instead, he focuses on the key adjustments that make a real difference.
